OC Tranpso says, “Customers can board these 15 bus routes at any stop along the route without paying a fare. Customers boarding these routes will not receive a printed transfer. Fares will continue to be required at the pedestrian entrances to the fare-paid zones at Greenboro, Tunney’s Pasture, Hurdman and Blair Stations.
Transfers to bus routes other than the 15 downtown routes, and to O-Train Line 1 and Line 2 buses, will require regular fare. Transfers to STO are also not included.
When using these no-charge routes, do not tap your Presto card or pay a fare when boarding the bus – the Operator will let you on without requiring a fare.
If you normally only ride these 15 bus routes, consider not purchasing a March monthly pass or cancelling your auto-renew pass for the month. You can call OC Transpo Customer Service at 613-560-5000 if you have any questions.
