Holiday Cheer Takes Centre Stage at Meridian Theatres & Shenkman Arts Centre

Christmas at MEridian-min

That magical time of year in Ottawa is just around the corner, and the spirit of the season is taking over Ottawa’s stages this December, as Meridian Theatres @ Centrepointe and the Shenkman Arts Centre roll out a festive lineup of concerts, performances, and holiday happenings. From the beloved harmonies of Christmas with The Ennis Sisters and the smooth swing of Have Yourself a Jazzy Little Christmas to Pierre Brault’s acclaimed one-man adaptation of A Christmas Carol, audiences can expect a full slate of seasonal entertainment. Over at Shenkman Arts Centre, the celebrations continue with the Orléans Holiday Arts Market, another round of jazzy holiday tunes, and the always popular New Year’s Eve Comedy Night, back for its 14th year. Together, these two theatres are setting the stage for a joyful and distinctly local holiday season.
