Fresh air and fresh finds will be abundant at the next 613flea as the marketplace heads outdoors. On Saturday, May 2nd, from 10 am until 4 pm, visitors will find 150 colourful pop-up tents at the Aberdeen Square* in Lansdowne Park for the first time this year.
Saturdays at 613flea are for strolling, snacking, and discovering. Several terrific vendors are taking part at the latest edition of the popular marketplace:
- Mccanse Art: Coming from Hamilton, this new-to-the-market vendor will feature paintings, art books, art ephemera, etchings and woodblock prints.
- Small Creek Forge offers hand-forged carbon steel skillets with handcrafted leather handles that are perfect for all cooking surfaces. Plus, don’t miss their hand-forged copper coffee scoops.
- Designs by Mumtaz: 613flea’s resident henna artist will be on hand ready to create stunning henna designs.
- Nutmeg Vintage Finds is showcasing a vibrant selection of brightly colored Mexican Tonala pottery from the sixties.
- Mon Pottery’s charming creations include miniature houses, tiny furniture and Forest Friends figurines.
- For Ottawa foodies, Nat’s Bread Company’s Lemon Spirals, Rye Sourdough and Challah Braids are not to be missed.
- Among the market’s other food vendors, visitors can try a range of tasty treats like mango sticky rice, dirty sodas, jalapeno jam and cucumber limeade.
*Note: 613flea will be in the Aberdeen Pavilion in the case of inclement weather.
