Here is Quebec’s latest COVID-19 status update

QUÉBEC CITY, April 24, 2021 – For all our Quebec neighbours here is the most recent data on the evolution of COVID-19, in the last 24 hours:

1,106 new cases, bringing the total number of people infected to 343,794;
321,667 people have recovered;
13 new deaths, but the total of deaths amounts to 9, due to the withdrawal of 4 deaths not attributable to COVID-19, for a total of 10,869 deaths:
- 3 deaths in the last 24 hours,
- 7 deaths between April 17 and April 22,
- 3 deaths before April 17,
662 hospitalizations, for a decrease of 22;
181 people in intensive care, for an increase of 9;
40,928 samples conducted on April 22.

Vaccinations

83,628 doses administered are added, i.e. 82,080 doses in the last 24 hours and 1,548 doses before April 23, for a total of 2,763,535;
3,066,969 doses received in total;
- no other dose to be received this week since deliveries have been completed.
