Ottawa road closures and traffic impacts beginning Thursday, November 26

The City of Ottawa has once again release its extensive list of upcoming road closures for now through to Monday.

The following projects will impact Ottawa traffic:

  • Highway 417 The following Highway 417 ramps will close for Stage 2 LRT roadwork:
    • The eastbound on-ramp from northbound Moodie Drive will close nightly from 10 pm to 5 am until Saturday, November 28.
    • The westbound on-ramp from northbound Pinecrest Road will close nightly from 10 pm to 5 am until Friday, November 27.
    • The westbound on-ramp from southbound Pinecrest Road will close from 10 pm on Friday, November 27 until 5 am on Saturday, November 28.
  • Highway 174 – The eastbound Highway 174 on-ramp from northbound Jeanne d’Arc Boulevard will be closed from 10 pm on Monday, November 30 until 5 am on Tuesday, December 1. As well, the following Highway 174 ramps will close from 10 pm on Friday, November 27 until 5 am on Saturday, November 28 for Stage 2 LRT roadwork:
    • The westbound Blair Road off-ramp
    • The westbound on-ramp from southbound Montreal Road
    • The eastbound on-ramp from southbound Montreal Road
    • The eastbound on-ramp from northbound Montreal Road
    • The westbound on-ramp from southbound Champlain Street
  • Athlone Avenue – Athlone Avenue will close between Scott Street and Richmond Road from 6 am on Thursday, November 26 until 6 pm on Friday, November 27 for watermain replacement. Signed detours will be in place. Pedestrian, cycling and local access will be maintained.
  • Byron Avenue – Byron Avenue will close between Richardson and Compton avenues from Monday, November 30 until Thursday, December 24 for Stage 2 LRT work.
  • Montreal Road – Montreal Road will close in both directions under Highway 174 from 8 pm on Friday, December until 5 am on Monday, December 7 for Stage 2 LRT work.
