Trick or swim and skate – Ottawans can give out the coolest treats this Halloween

OTTAWA, Oct. 6, 2022 – Behold fellow Ottawa vampires, ghouls and Minions alike! A really cool spooky old favourite is awakening from its slumber. Tricks or Swim or Skate is making a return this year with tickets going on sale today! It’s the coolest treat going this Halloween in Ottawa.

For only $10, you can get 10 tickets that can be handed out to kids, between the ages of three and 15, to redeem for a regularly scheduled public swim or skate session at City pools and select arenas.

What is Trick or Swim or Skate?

It is a fun and healthy alternative to the usual chips and chocolate. For only $10, you can get 10 tickets that can be handed out to kids, between the ages of three and 15, to redeem for a regularly scheduled public swim or skate session at City pools and select arenas. Tickets can be redeemed between Tuesday, November 1 and Tuesday, January 31, 2023. Be sure to check that your facility is participating first.

Tickets have sold out quickly in the past, so be sure to grab yours as soon as you can! You can purchase ticket books from select City recreational facilities starting on Tuesday, October 4, while quantities last.
