It’s time to rally behind Canada’s Men’s National Team! No tickets required!
OTTAWA, July 2, 2026 — The Government of Canada has partnered with the City of Ottawa to rally behind Canada’s Men’s National Team. Canadians are invited to the Ottawa Bluesfest site at LeBreton Flats Park for a free FIFA World Cup 2026™ watch party as Canada’s team faces Morocco in the Round of 16.
“Canada is on an unprecedented run at the FIFA World Cup 2026™, a major international event,” says Ottawa Bluesfest CEO/Founder Mark Monahan. “Never before has Canada reached the round of 16, so it’s our pleasure and honour to invite the many fans of this great Canadian team to attend this party and to come out and support Team Canada!”

- Licensed event – a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase
- Food vendors will be on site for those who wish to purchase meals or snacks
- Attendees who wish to bring a bag must use either a clear bag or a small bag no larger than a fanny pack. All bags will be inspected upon entry

A: No, the event is free and open to the public.
Q: Can I leave and return to the event?
A: Yes. Alcoholic beverages will not be allowed to leave the premises.

A: Small folding lawn chairs or collapsible camping chairs are permitted.
Q: Can I bring food or drinks with me?
A: Factory-sealed or empty reusable bottles are permitted. Small meals or snacks are permitted. NO glass bottles or containers. NO alcoholic beverages.
Q: Is this event accessible?
A: Yes, LeBreton Flats is accessible to those with limited mobility.

- NO Flags, banners, posters, or poles
- NO Backpacks, large purses, totes, cooler bags
- NO Glass of any kind, no cans
- NO Bicycles
- NO Professional photography equipment, video equipment, or audio recording devices (without a media/photo pass) including but not limited to: GoPros, any detachable zoom lenses, monopods, selfie sticks, stands, tripods.
- NO Laser pointers, lighting devices, glow sticks, etc.
- NO Drones or any other remote-flying devices
- NO Musical instruments, horns or noisemakers
- NO Walkie-talkies or radio equipment
- NO Inflatables of any kind
- NO Skateboards, roller blades, scooters, carts, wagons, or personalized motorized vehicles (except accessibility devices such as wheelchairs)
- NO Illegal substances or drug paraphernalia
- NO Alcohol. Both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages will be sold inside the event gates
- NO Pets. Registered service animals trained to assist a person with a disability are permitted
- NO Hard-sided coolers or glass containers
- NO Unauthorized vending of products or services
