OTTAWA, May 4, 2023 – A cool and crafty, FREE event is happening this weekend in Ottawa, and we don’t mean watching the Coronation of King Charles III while half asleep in your jammies. On Sunday, May 7th Freewheeling Craft is hosting their 8th annual spring market at the National Arts Centre in Ottawa. With over 65 makers, artists, creators and designers popping up with us, this highly curated market has become a shop local destination for Ottawa shoppers.
The market is Sunday, May 7th from 11-4. It is free to attend, and offers two levels of accessible shopping. There is ample on site parking or the NAC is along major transit routes for ease of access. There is an onsite local coffee shop.
After the renovation at the NAC, the atrium public space has become a premier venue in Ottawa for showcasing creativity in Ottawa. This has become a main-stay venue in our annual markets, hosting an annual spring and holiday market in partnership with the NAC.
Since 2015 Freewheeling Craft has worked with hundreds of creative entrepreneurs, creating opportunities for them to showcase their goods to new customers, build their brands, and connect with other creative makers. The vision of our markets has been to partner with the best venues in the city to create spaces that are inspiring for both the vendors and shoppers.
