For Ottawans feeling a little down after all the exciting Canada Day festivities, don’t despair because the Williamstown Rodeo is coming to Williamstown Fairgrounds on July 4th and 5th 2025 in collaboration with Black Creek Rodeo Co.
Get ready for an action packed weekend as the area’s most anticipated annual event brings you the toughest sport on dirt with all the traditional rodeo competitions like bareback riding, saddle bronc, barrel racing, steer wrestling, tie-down roping, breakaway roping, team roping, bull riding, steer riding and junior bull riding and mutton busting!
So those Ottawans hankering to get in touch with their inner cowboy, rutle up the family and mosey on down the 417 on July 4,5 to The Williamstown Rodeo. It’s a fun day trip out, just a short 1.25 hour drive away from the nation’s capital!
Competitors will be competing for prize money leading to a final championship.

Evening music entertainment will start both days at 9PM, and will be provided on Friday by Jamie Oliver (not the famous British Chef) and on Saturday by The County Lads.

Gates will open at 4PM with a rodeo start time of 7PM. Get here early as seating is limited. A beer garden will be located inside The Meeting Place along with on-site food vendors.
