Award-Winning Hamilton Band to Make Ottawa Debut

The Truth Untold play Ottawa

Award-winning Hamilton-based rockers, The Truth Untold, are no strangers to the road. Since the launch of their post-pandemic anthem, “Not My Time”, they’ve been winning the hearts and ears of rock music lovers far and wide. And they will be making a stop in Ottawa on October 18th!

From Wisconsin to Waterloo, the band is a serious road warrior and has been booked on numerous standout festivals across North America including MetroJam (supporting Drivin’N’Cryin), Ladybug Music Festival, Indie Night in Canada, Railway City Music Festival, and SummerBash Indiana (supporting Josey Scott’s Saliva), among others.

Hamilton’s The Truth Untold is making a stop at Avant-Garde on October 18 on a bill with popular Ottawa rockers
Love & Mayhem and Sendiri

A “one-of-a-kind talent”, Perry’s vocals have been said to be the “perfect blend of Alanis Morissette and Norah Jones” (Kaotic Notes), while her songwriting is full of “raw visceral power, killer hooks and punch-in-the-gut riffs” (Spill Magazine). This is not a show to miss!

Perry is joined on stage by band members, Jessie Taynton on bass and providing slick harmony vocals along with Steve Skrtich holding things down on drums, and John-William Kostecki providing crushing lead guitar and backing vocals.

In promotion of their latest release, “Excuses”, The Truth Untold are currently on their “Phoenix Rising” tour and among their dates is a pitstop in Ottawa, Ontario on Saturday, October 18 at Avant-Garde (135 Besserer St, Ottawa, ON K1N 6A7), following their direct support slot for Big Sugar earlier this summer.

Joining them on the bill are local Ottawa’s favourite rockers, Love & Mayhem and Sendiri. Both bands are well worth the jaunt downtown! You will not be disappointed with this talent-laden bill in the nation’s cap.

The show is 19+ and the cover is $10. Doors open at 8:00 pm. The Truth Untold hit the stage at 10:00 pm.
