Here are the Ottawa traffic interruptions this weekend starting Sept. 17

It’s that time of the week again when the City of Ottawa announces which roads will be impacted by projects for LRT work or road improvements.

The City says the following projects will impact Ottawa traffic over the coming days, beginning Friday, September 17, 2021:

  • Greenbank Road will have intermittent lane reductions during off peak hours at Half Moon Bay Road starting Monday, September 20 until November for roundabout construction work. Motorists on Half Moon Bay Road can anticipate periods of right-in/out-only access and full road closure during some stages of construction. Watch for signs and flagging. Pedestrian and cyclist access will be maintained..
  • Galetta Side Road will have intermittent lane reductions with flagging between Old Highway 17 to Ferry Road starting Friday, September 17 until Thursday, September 23 for crack sealing. Cyclist and pedestrian access will be maintained.
  • The following Highway 174 ramps and lanes will be closed for Stage 2 LRT roadwork:
    • The westbound off-ramp to Tenth Line Road will close nightly between 9 pm and 5:30 am until Monday, September 27.
    • The westbound on-ramp from southbound Tenth Line Road will close nightly between 9 pm and 5:30 am until Monday, September 27.
    • The westbound on-ramp from northbound Tenth Line Road will close at 5:30 am on Monday, September 20 and re-open at 5:30 am on Monday, September 27.
    • The westbound on-ramps from northbound and southbound Montreal Road are closed until 5:30 am on Sunday, September 19.
    • The westbound off-ramp to Blair Road is closed until 5:30 am on Sunday, September 19.
    • Highway 174 westbound and eastbound lanes between Trim and Cameron roads will close nightly from 7 pm to 5:30 am starting Tuesday, September 21 until Thursday, September 23.
    • The westbound on-ramp from St. Joseph Boulevard at Tenth Line Road will close nightly between 9 pm and 5:30 am from Thursday, September 23 until Saturday, September 25.
  • Edgeworth Avenue will remain closed between Lawn Avenue and Richmond Road until Friday, October 15. Local access will be maintained.
  • Adirondack Drive will close between Woodroffe Avenue and Domalatchy Place daily from 7 am to 5 pm, until Friday, October 15.
  • The following Highway 417 ramps will be closed for Stage 2 LRT roadwork:
    • The westbound on-ramp from southbound Pinecrest Road will remain closed until 6 am on Monday, September 20.
