Westboro Beach Community is hosting its first Santa Claus Parade and food drive this on Sunday December 13, 2020 starting at 3 pm. It’s the perfect pick-me up to get into the Holiday spirit during these dark pandemic days.
Here’s a great chance for your kids to say hello to Santa (from a safe distance of course!), enjoy some candy canes and make a small donation to the Westboro Region food bank.
Santa Claus will be departing at 3 pm from the corner of Premier Ave. and Remic Avenue and winding his way through the neighbourhood to Kirchoffer and Lanark Avenue parking area.
But this isn’t just any parade as along the way Santa’s helpers also will be picking up non-perishable food donations to go to the Westboro Region Food Bank. Of course, they will also be distributing candy canes to kids along the way.
Parade organizers want to emphasise the important of sticking to the physical distancing rules to keep everyone safe.
Bring your good cheer and non-perishable food donations for the Westboro Region Food Bank.
