2023 Ottawa Heritage Awards

OTTAWA, Feb. 22, 2023 – As part of Heritage Week, the City of Ottawa is recognizing outstanding contributions to heritage conservation with the 2023 Ottawa Heritage Awards. Eleven projects in various categories have been recognized. Awards were given out at a ceremony last night at the ByTowne Cinema.

Projects completed between January 2019 and December 2022 were eligible for the awards and the winners were selected by an external jury with expertise in heritage conservation.

“These projects demonstrate a commitment not only to architectural heritage but also to the preservation of the heritage of our entire city. The impact of these projects will be felt for years to come,” said Ottawa Mayor Mark Sutcliffe.
