OTTAWA, February 9, 2023 – Today is National Pizza Day and Ottawa Times has a special recipe to share from Toronto area Chef Stephan Schulz. It all begins with black olive bread, then take it from there, Chef Schulz:

Chef’s Note; February 9th marks a festive day in my calendar, its National Pizza Day. The little ones in my family can’t wait for pizza day, it is their favourite of many treats. I think they would have pizza day everyday if it was up to them. There is no reason why we need to stick to the traditional style of pizzas, now, you can create a pizza with just about anything. I chose a black olive bread as the base to hold the ingredients, and you know something, it tastes great and you get a loud crunching sound when you bite down.
