OTTAWA, February 14, 2026 — Hey Ottawa! Italian Week is asking, “Does your Nonna or Nonno have a dish that brings everyone to the table? A recipe that tastes like home, love, and tradition?”
Italian Week Ottawa is looking for Nonni to lead a cooking masterclass in English, taking place during the week of June 15, 2026, and we’re inviting adult children and grandchildren to nominate them (with their permission of course!).
The Italian Week team is looking for a recipe that yfour Nonna or Nonno would love to share and demonstrate during the cooking class, along with the stories and traditions that come with it.
Help Italian Week Ottawa celebrate the recipes that connect generations and keep Italian culture alive.

- A little about your Nonno or Nonna
- The dish or tradition they would like to share and demonstrate
