Ribbon-cutting ceremony welcomes federal, provincial and municipal dignitaries as Jolly Bubble officially opens its doors to Barrhaven families.
OTTAWA, ON – August 20 2026 – Jolly Bubble Group Inc., Canada’s fast-growing indoor playground and family entertainment brand, proudly celebrated the grand opening of its newest location in Barrhaven on the morning of August 14, 2026.
Located at 71 Marketplace Avenue, Unit L2, Nepean, ON K2J 5G4, the new location marks Jolly Bubble’s sixth location overall and its first in the Ottawa region, bringing the brand’s safe, clean and community-oriented family entertainment experience to families across Barrhaven, Nepean and the greater Ottawa area.
The opening was marked by a festive ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by family, friends, staff, business partners and members of the Barrhaven community, celebrating Jolly Bubble’s official arrival in the Ottawa region.
Dignitaries Attend Grand Opening
Special guests offering individual remarks included Sophie Kiwala, representing the Office of the Right Honourable Mark Carney, Prime Minister of Canada and Member of Parliament for Nepean; Tyler Watt, MPP for Nepean; Ottawa City Councillor David Hill (Ward 3, Barrhaven West); and Ottawa City Councillor Wilson Lo (Ward 24, Barrhaven East). Andrea Steenbakkers, Executive Director of the Barrhaven Business Improvement Area (BIA), also joined the celebration. Wes Wu, Vice President of Jolly Bubble, represented Jolly Bubble Group leadership at the ribbon-cutting, alongside Barrhaven location owners Rushal Dudhat and Raviraj Vaghani.
Adding further significance to the occasion, the Office of the Prime Minister of Canada sent a formal letter of congratulations in recognition of Jolly Bubble Barrhaven’s grand opening. Jolly Bubble was honoured to receive the recognition as it welcomed the Ottawa community to the new location.
Immersive Indoor Playground for Children
Beyond offering a destination for play, Jolly Bubble creates an immersive environment where children can explore, imagine and learn through role play. The Barrhaven location features interactive play areas inspired by real-world settings, including a doctor’s office, police station, supermarket, construction area and princess dress-up zone. These spaces encourage children to explore different roles and develop an early understanding of careers and everyday life through imaginative play. The location also features dedicated party rooms, providing families with a convenient space to celebrate birthdays and other special occasions.
The new location also creates local employment opportunities and adds to Barrhaven’s growing family entertainment community.
