Ottawa residents asked to ‘check your mail’ this week for new waste collection calendar

OTTAWA, May 19, 2022 – The City’s new 12-month recycling and waste collection calendar will be delivered by mail to Ottawa households this week. The new calendar runs until June 2023.

You can see the calendar online as well, where you can also sign up for collection-day reminders by email, Twitter or text message. The Collection Calendar app is also available for free on Google Play and the Apple App Store . It delivers waste and recycling collection information, calendars and the latest updates right to your phone or tablet.

Residents are also reminded to put recycling, green bin and waste at the curb any time after 6 pm the evening before collection day, and before 7 am on collection day.
