Ottawa’s Escapade Music Festival to host vaccination clinic this Saturday

If you’ve been missing summer music festival vibes, we’ve got good news for you.

To help make sure you can safely attend parties, music festivals and other events this summer and fall, the City and Ottawa Public Health are working with Escapade Music Festival to hold a COVID-19 vaccine pop-up clinic at RCGT Park (Ottawa Baseball Stadium), 300 Coventry Road. The clinic will be held inside the stadium on Saturday, July 24 from 10 am to 8 pm.

There will be live DJs, and plenty of giveaways for all those who show up to get vaccinated, especially those who bring your best festival outfits! 

There are also prizes including VIP upgrades to the festival, free festival tickets for 2021 & 2022, backstage passes, and more!

The Bud Light Escapade Music Festival keeps getting better every year but sadly had to be put on hold last year due to COVID restrictions. The one-of-a-kind gigantic Ottawa area music party, highlights the NCR’s rapidly growing electronic music scene and dedicated to the capital region’s fans of the genre. The popular event usually held in July is unrivalled in the country featuring the most renowned international artists, combined with the best and best known local talent, along with an incredible dance party atmosphere.

Escapade Music Festival began in 2010 with over 3,000 attendees. The headliner was none other than Ontario superstar, Grammy-award winning DJ and producer Deadmau5. In 2011, Since then the event has flipped back and forth between Ottawa Stadium and Rideau Carleton Raceway.

Free parking is available, and the clinic is within walking distance from Tremblay Station.

Escapade Music Festival has announced that only fully vaccinated residents will be able to attend its festival, planned to occur this September. There is still time to get your two doses before the beat drops this fall! You can snag a virtual ticket online at escapademf.com/vaccination to ensure your spot. Limited drop-ins will also be available while supplies last.
